In Compliance with the Request contained in your letter of Yesterday we have personally examined with the [undecipherable] of the Ship James [undecipherable] she has new wind bands with bolt bolts and [undecipherable] five bolt holes in the stern chase [undecipherable] had [undecipherable] [undecipherable] here, some new carriages with [rollers?] mounted on them which [undecipherable] were not [undecipherable] when the [undecipherable] sundry new ring bolts in the timbers for the Tackles and Brushings.
