I have herewith inclosed Return of Stores for the last three Months, together with an Invoice of Articles since Received.
I have herewith transmitted to the Comptroller of the Treasury, Under Cover to you Sir, Vouchers for Disbursements, in the Quarter Master Department at this Post and its Dependencies, for the last three Months, agreeable to Instructions of the Quarter Master General, previous to his departure from this place, these Vouchers are Accompanied by an Abstract of the Accounts, a Copy of Which I have enclosed, the aggregate amount of Which is 10,705.11 You will please to excuse Mr. [undecipherable]'s an act for Mason Work, and Brick Laying & Materials, in Fort Pitt all three Charges in this Act Subjected to, on Act of comp[undecipherable] of Materials & workmanship, in Consequence of which a Suit was Instituted, by William Gray, which was tried and determined in his favor, in the Court of Alleghany County, two [undecipherable] from the [undecipherable] [undecipherable] —

I have just Received your letter of the 6th Instant, together with Several Packets for Head Quarters, I have also Received a letter from Samuel Hodgdon, Esqr inclosing two thousand five hundred Dollars in Post Notes.
On the 7th Ultimo I transmitted to you an Estimate of Sundry Articles, which the Quarter Master General instructed me to purchase at this Post, these articles are either all Received or Contracted for, in addition to that amount ten thousand three hundred Bushels of Grain, a 7/6 already forwarded, to Head Quarter is yet to be paid for, am Sorry I have not been able to take up the forage but together with some other [undecipherable] them in my present Abstract.
By Next Post I shall endeavour to forward my Abstract and the [undecipherable] Generals, together with an Estimate of several Objects of Expenditures. —
Lieut Glain with his detachment is preparing to depart tomorrow to Escort two Boats that are to carry nearly all the Stores on hand. —
Captain Pike & Lewis wait for the Virginia Recruit, they are Expected this day Boats are Ready for their Embarkation. —
