James O'Hara Esqr Phia 29th June 1793 —
Dr Gr
Sir Since your embarkation I have not had a line from you — Nearly the whole of the Indent for supplies for the present year are forwarded & I am now busily employ'd in deciding on the Cloaths — that for the Artillery is already gone, and the Cavan will be on the road in the course of three or four days — the Infantry only bring up the Rear immediately I send the Cloathing forward in this way to prevent mistakes or confusion — all the packages are mark'd for the respective Corps and minute Specification invoices accompany every package besides which I have sent an aggregate invoice of the whole — So much attention will I hope prevent complaints, the reference of transportation is unnecessary, but all applicants hitherto have been principally attended to — I have made warrant for 18,696 Dollars being the remainder of the 65,000 appropriation — out of this I have paid several Drafts of Major Craig — and have also [undecipherable: paid?] him 3000 dollars, the receipt of which he has acknowledged — the remainder is subject to your draft or other calls of the Department. The news papers are forwarded — as usual they contain the occurrences of the day —
I am Sir
Your most Obt Servant
