War department June 22. 1793 110 Sir, I have received yours of the 14th instant. Five thousand dollars were forwarded to you by the last post in consequence of your requisitions for money. In consequence of your information relatively to the waters from Pittsburgh to Wheeling I have directed the erection of a post at that place to be suspended for the present. But pray write me fully upon this point. Your bill for the money you have advanced Mr. Wilson has been paid. It is to be hoped that the Indians baggage have arrived at Pittsburgh before this. The delay may be attributed to the late Rains and bad roads. I am Sir Your humble servant H Knox Major Isaac Craig
