[Letter from Col. Carrington Dated 8 June 1793 — Desires allowance forinded [undecipherable] Dollars for transportation of Convoys [undecipherable] &c &c —] Richmond Supernum. Office June 18. 1793 Sir, Inclosed you will receive here Jacksons Contract and Rec^t. for the amount of fifty dollars for transporting the Convoys you sometime ago sent to my care to be sent to Cap^t. Preston At Montgomery Court House, to which is annexed Col. Prestons Rec^t. for the Convoys. You will see by the several dates in the papers that the business was fully executed in good time, although the Report to you came late, owing to Jacksons having acted with the Intention to go with the Professors boat to the place of their embarking in the Boats, a long search for which he has but just returned.
