Sir—
I have received your Letter of the 31st ultimo— your first dreft is honored, that in favour of Mr Butler is under consideration at the War Office, and hope I shall be justified to receive it— of its fate you will be informed in my near— Prince Barzage will not I hope long detain him—
The news papers you mention to have received, as well as those now forwarded, and which anteil Garbed will constantly be sent, belong to Mr Fara supposed he had given you directions respecting them before he left Pittsburgh
