In rec'd your Letter of 24th Ultimo advising me of your Sending forwards the Cloathing Wm Offr C. Catherter to Shepherdburgh for the Recruits under my Command at this place, the Information arrived Very opportune as I had give up all Hope of being Supplied from Philadelphia and had Negotiated a loan of Cloathing from Other Officers on the Same Service — This Supply however will do away the Necessity of Borrowing; And as Soon as the Cloathing arrives I Shall transmit an account as you request. — And am Dr Sir with Dr Respect
