I have received your Letter of the 13th Instant — Captain Prior arrived last night, the Indians are expected to Morrow. The Waggons Shall not be detained one Moment Unnecessarily.
I wrote you on the 22d Informing you of the necessity I was then under of Drawing on You in favour of [undecipherable: probable reading William Henley] for 1104 Dollars, the amount of his account for Forage Delivered at Marietta & Fort Washington, [undecipherable] the 17th Instant, I informed you of my Situation With Respect to Cash. Have this day Wrote to the Secretary of War on the Same Subject. And have to request that you with him will Consert some Mode of Supply till the Quarter Master General may have an Ofsertunity of Making a Remittance
