[Letter from M^r Perkins 28 May] [Rec'd 25 [undecipherable]] Fredricks Burg, may 21. 1793 Dear Sir I got to this Place about Seven oclock this Evening [&] [undecipherable] with Some disappointment by the Stage & having made Some enquiries a bout the [undecipherable] [undecipherable] road to new london, I find [there] Something nearer at this place than I Should be at Richmond. I have therefore determined not [undecipherable] to Richmond but to make the best of my way for Charlottsvill & from & into the [Point of Falls] & here or near the [undecipherable] near london is 160 miles also [undecipherable] near [undecipherable].
