Philadelphia 11^th May 1792 Dear Sir, On the 30^th Ultimo I received your letter of the 20^th Was glad to find that the five thousand Dollars had Safely reached you to any [undecipherable]. Better to hear that the last remittance of 18,000 had gone in safety to have it accompanied my letter of the 20^th [undecipherable] and on the 27^th I forwarded the [undecipherable] 1000 on the last Warrant due then I have paid your Second Draft in favor of Green & Mayo, of 1040 Dollars [undecipherable] and in way on Nine thousand Dollars more in Small post notes which without Accident you will receive with this letter. I have Credited your account with 100 Dollars received of Cap^t Prior and Charged it with the Ninety Dollars [undecipherable] of Doctor Brown. To day [undecipherable] of Indian Goods were sent to me to be forwarded to Pittsburgh. Receive [undecipherable] knowledge of [undecipherable] Immediately [undecipherable] for Information [undecipherable] [undecipherable] again reminded him of Your Good, and the Probable advantage that might begin by Purchasing them in Whiskey — that [undecipherable] suggested that the two might be found [undecipherable] Certainly. I thought it rather under Circumstances to make this Communication. I have written thus far When Your letter of the 26^th Ultimo was put into my hands. I was very Happy to find You Had received more covering the thirteen thousand Dollars. and that the Remittances were Perfectly Agreeable.
