Sir,
I enclose to you herewith, Warrant, drawn on out Man No 40. as also with Pay and Muster Rolls Complete (including the Complete Rolls of Barton of the 3. Battagion which I got on to by the Post) of the 25 Instants; Amount 8,055 in Dollars for which I desire to thank you for your acknowledgment as fast as you receive them.
All the troops on the west are now paid by me in full to the 1 January 1793 and there is a Mass Balance of Cash left, of the Appropriation of 1792 but have to time to ascertain the precise Amount —
A reference to the rolls I have put to you will please give all my deductions for dead debtors, and advances. rewards paid, &c &c —
