Description

Seagrove recounts the robbery and murder at Traders Hill on St Marys River and reiterates demand to have those who committed crime delivered up, and release of hostage named Upton. Relates that the citizens of United States may not accept anything less than Seagrove's demands. Discusses designs of the whites to involve the Creeks in war in order to destroy the peace. Refers to William Bowles [freebooter] as part of problem. Asks leadership not to allow entire country to suffer in order to save from just punishment the men who brought trouble and disgrace on the land. Colonel John Kinnard will supply information on other matters, as well as Seagrove's Deputy Mr Timothy Bernard.
