I have the honor to transmit you, inclosed, copies of two letters of advice from John Child, deputy quarter master to the Secretary of War, dated 11 February and April 1st 1793 by which it appears, that he has a sum, drawn bills, on account of the quarter master's department, to the amount of Dollars 4970.66/100. — The Secretary requests that you will, as you have done before, accept [undecipherable] bills when presented.
