Sir
Recd the Cloathing by the Wingfields packet in good order but not near the quantity that I expected Enow encloses you a Return of what is wanting to Complet the Company which I Shall now thank you to Send me as Soon a possible - as been loth to trouble the Secretary of War on any business that Can be avoidd - It was unnecessary to Send Wool Canteens - as my last Return mentiond that [undecipherable] number had on hands which are [undecipherable] this Season of the year and will be expensive in Carrying them to Fort Pitt when I march - if you will please to direct the Cloathing that you may Send me to be of the largest Size as my last Recruits are Stout men. I also must request the favor of you to Send Side arms for the Serjeants, and you will much oblige
your Humble Servant
