Third, put one boat for the [undecipherable] garrison at that time to insure they shall be ready, on the day appointed [?] the [Passage] with the Complaints ageable to the orders of the 16^th September — I note Mr Hodgson will meet as difficulty in having at least 16,000 dollars rendered to me now as possible that [Prices] be enabled to [demand] the [undecipherable] Inspection, Transportation and disposed of your first and best [undecipherable] for water [undecipherable] — Pay requests for the present quarter with General [Means?] until [undecipherable] at the Treasury for the [undecipherable] July, and in future they should be particularly [undecipherable] agreeable to your Instructions — I have reason to apprehend that the Ground on which Fort Payette [undecipherable] has not been obtained.
