Sir,
Your letter of the 11th February Containing invoices of three months pay Rig for October, November and december 1792. came safe to hand by the Post, and last evening Dr Carmichael arrived at this place with the cash. The packages of silver have been packed and repacked, and one of them were shifted and mixed past the Don't Says I desire he take charge of them in Philadelphia that he received it, he has delivered it the Saddle bags of bank notes is also delivered to me.
As I have not time before the departure of the bearer of this letter from he I must delay giving a receipt until I can Count the money which I shall do as soon as possible.
Capt Brock has delivered me his accounts which I will endeavor to send on by the next post. The high waters prevents our direct communication to Pittsbourg at present.
