According to his Excellencys the Governors orders mentioned to you the 18 instant, I have send a board the Vessel Capt Hamel — 126b burned market barrels with some half and quarter ditto —
I wish you may receive them with better continence as I had in having them in my care, after their unfortunate burning on the top of the State House, I could never see their figure without forenifs, besides the Loft — their being burned has been the cause of reducing my Salary
