On firing Cloathing agreeable to a General Order for Completing the Allowance to the Troops at this Post, the Officers shewed Several of the Woolen Overalls of a Very Inferior Quality, and made Report of this Situation to the General, in Consequence of Which Capt Porter, Capt Mills and Lieut Andrews, have been Ordered to Inspect all the Cloathing Stores, in the Course of Which they have Condemned, or Rather Rejected, five hundred and twenty five pairs —
As the General is at present Very much indisposed, I have not had any further Instructions Respecting them
