James O'Hara] [Q^m Gen^l] War Department, October 26. 1792 Sir, Your letter of the 19^th Auguse has been receid containing a requisition for fifty thousand Dollars, for the objects Specified. — This request will be considered and transmitted to the Secretary of the Treasury You will please to transmit to this Office immediately a return of the Packhorses, oxen, Carts, and Waggons in Service, and the Objects for and places at which they are employ'd. It will also be necessary that you transmit the objects for which the five hundred pack horses mentioned in your Estimate are destined. M^r Belli expecting his letter would come thro' the [undecipherable], transmitted a duplicate open of his letter to you of the 21^st September, but as you have reciev'd the first I have retained the duplicate. It is necessary that you should Monthly transmit to me an Abstract specifying generally the Objects and amount of your payments. You will at this part exhibit a general abstract.
