Know all Men by these Presents that I Thomas Gibson of the County of Hamilton Territory North West of the Ohio Do Constitute and appoint Samuel Hodgdon Esquire of the City of Philadelphia to be my lawfull Attorney for me and in my Name to Demand and Receive from Benjamin Mifflin Esqr. Accountant in Major Howells pay Office the Amount of payment of Sunday Discharges of Soldiers of the 1st and 2d Regt U. S. Levies. Vizt. Danl. Holsman I M Seyt of Majr. Clarks Batt. Simon Richards Sergt. John Mac Donald Sergt. James Frazer John Dailey David Kirkpatrick Hugh O'Donnell Jos. White all of Capt. Platts Company Hugh Camerón John Balland Moses Thompson of Capt. Peters Company Thomas Hurtle Sergt. William Thompson of Capt. Edward Butlers Company. Alexander Irwin Sergt. Richard Nicholson Sergt. of Capt. Gaithers Company, and John Boyd of Capt. Smiths Company all which Discharges I have left in the said Benjamin Mifflin Esqrs. hands. —
