The inclosed papers contain all the information I have received worth communicating from the Cherokees since writing you by Mr. Allison on the 26 September. For many days past I have hourly been in expectation of an express from Cumberland nor have I heard of the bucks and Cherokees since they passed the Tennessee as mentioned in the letter of the Breath and Charity and by John Doggs on the 17 of September
The Militia are turning out with unusual alacrity some of them have made their appearance from the upper Counties and the whole number called for will be here by Saturday Night.
