I have Received Your letter of the 10th Instant, and with it another dis appointment of not finding a Remittance. I had borrowed of Several of my Friends, and promised on this day to Refund. I have also applied a Considerable Sum of the present Quarter Master Generals Money to discharge the most pressing of the Old Accts. Assuring him that by this time I Should Replenish, on my telling him, that I had not Received Money by this Post he was Astonished.
Yesterday one of Your Pack Horseman Called on me, says he Entered Several Pack Horse in public Service, which were all lost on the 4th of November and that he has Several times applied to you for payment, agreeable to payment, but has not yet Obtained it, his Name is Gettiny, he is grown very Clamorous. he belongs to David Fait Brigade. I find there are Several that Complain of not being paid for the Service the last Campaign.
