Hodgdon's Report on the Return of deficient Articles. I have always Endeavored to [undecipherable] Article of Store as they came to hand, noting the times and Conditions, in which they were Received — It is Possible that some Articles may have been Omitted which I shall endeavor to Ascertain — the [undecipherable] are grown so Numerous, the hurry of [undecipherable] so great at this post that [they] may have Escaped my Notice which I trust will not be Considered as Intentional — I have hereunto Inclosed Return of Stores Received since last post, four Waggon loads of which have been Received this day, on the 10 Instant on the loading a Waggon, in which was a Box of Medicines a Bottle Containing Aquaforte, was broken by Accident which Immediately produced a Considerable Smoke and [undecipherable] the Box burst into a flame, by which a part of the other Medicine was lost, some small [undecipherable] of the Most Important, [undecipherable] has taken an Acc^t of it, which [undecipherable] he will [undecipherable] — with his Remarks on the Inferiority of [undecipherable] the [undecipherable] Articles in [undecipherable] Report — I am [signature]
