Captain Eaton's recruits are expected to arrive at New Brunswick, from Vermont — He will want, to complete his men, for marching, arms— accoutrements— [underline: Knapsacks,] canteens— camp kettles— axes & tents — His number will be seventy, non commd & privates.
The Secretary of War requests that you will be pleased to forward the above articles, by water, to Trenton, and request Abraham Hunt Estr to have them transported to New Brunswick with all possible dispatch.
