Sir/
I have the honor to transmit you a List of the Invalid Pensioners for the State of Pennsylvania, with my warrant for the payment of their Pension commencing the fifth of march last and ending the fourth instant.
The Secretary of the Treasury will furnish You with the necessary funds to pay said Invalids.
I have caused advertisements to be inserted in all the public papers that the payments will be made by the Commissioner of Loans for the respective States on the fifth instant.
With respect to the instructions for payment, You will be pleased strictly to adhere to those communicated to you in my letter of the ninth of February one thousand seven hundred ninety one, and the thirtieth of January of the present Year, and rigidly to observe that no payments can be made to any person whatever, and to no other amount but to those and at the rate specified in the list transmitted to You.
You will on the fifth day of December next transmit to this office a return of the Invalids who have applied and to whom You have made payment, in which You will also note any deaths or removals which may have taken place of any of the
