Sir,
I have received your letter of the 5th —
You inform me that no flores have arrived at Pittsburg, since the last post — A sufficient time has hardly elapsed for any articles first forward after the 10th of July to have reached you, as it requires from twenty one to twenty five days for the journey — Any flores forwarded before the 10th ought to have been there by calculation, by the time you wrote.
You will be particular in notifying me of the days the flores are delivered to you, and the names of the waggoners. —
I am Sir,
with esteem,
Your humble Sert
H Knox
[Majr Craig]
