The Medicines Instruments and all Things belonging to the Hospital Department, to be receipted for by an Hospital Store Keeper to be appointed, and his pay fixed by the Commanding General —
The Q Master Gen'l and his deputies, the Conductor of Military Stores, and the Hospital Storekeeper Shall Open an account with each Sub-Legion, Battalion, Company, Troop, Detachment and Garrison, to whom they Shall be ordered to deliver Stores, always taking Triplicate receipts for the Articles Delivered —
The Commanding Officers of Company's, Troops and Detachments Shall account in the Inspection Returns for all public property, delivered to the Troops under their Orders — And the Sub-Legionary and Battalion Quarter Masters, where there are no Staff Officers
