Regulations for furnishing the supplies of Forage Stationary and Wood for the troops of the United States
The ration is to be regulated by the quality or hundredths of obtaining it — not to be less than fourteen pounds nor more than eighteen pounds —
In the former case the ration to be two pints in the latter none or two quarts of corn if no Hay or Straw — late to be had than the allowance of Straw to be increased —
All persons employed in the Quarter Masters department or any other Staff Department of whatever denomination to take the following oath Viz:
I A.B. do solemnly swear or affirm — as the case may be — to bear true allegiance to the United States of America, and to serve them honestly, and faithfully against all their enemies or opposers whomsoever — and to observe and obey the orders of the President of the United States — and the officers by the [undecipherable] appointed over me according to the articles of war —

Each company . . . . . One quire the Month
