I have just received your favour Pr Mr Ward and the Only one I have reced from you since I left you, & if it had not been for the name of triming a little from an old and a much esteemed friend I would Ac have been without you Seemed Strangest at my Neglect which was not the case for I have wrote to you and the Secretary at war also [undecipherable] Col.
