in the Service of the United States of America, for a valuable and full Consideration to me in Hand paid, at or before the Execution hereof, by Robert [undecipherable: Noss]
the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, Have and by these Presents Do grant, bargain, sell, release, transfer and assign unto him, his Heirs, Executors, Administrators and Assigns, all my Right, Title, Interest, Property, Claim and Demand, which I now have, or which I, or my Heirs, Executors, or Administrators, may at any Time hereafter have, in all and singular the Lands, Pay, Arrearages of Pay, Clothing, Rations, Bounty-Land, Gratuities, Prize-Money, and other Demands, due and owing to me, from the United States, or from any particular State.
