Yours of the 8th Instant I received last evening— Two of the four men, that mention to have [strikethrough: been] drawn Money from Swan at Fort Washington, have been paid the full Amount of their arears by me before I received your letter— I will deduct the sums paid by Mr Swan from the other two, and will endeavour to make the two that I have already paid (Neal [undecipherable] and Henry Dull) pay back the sums that you mention they received from Mr Swan, as I think they have not left the parts yet— I am Sir
