I have the honor to Acknowledge the Rect of your letter
of the 25th Instant together with one from Mr Wm Knox Clk of Military Stores, mentioning one Thousand Dollars late advanced by me to Waggoners Carrying Stores to Pittsburgh. Upon my last Preference you Albe Dundee Already and on shall now extend my utmost Offering you that an Opportunity shall be embraced of forwarding the Rect by hundreds or greater number. the latter having we will most likely take place, unless you furnish it, as it will, I fear be out of my power to procure waggons to convey them by hundreds in. Any. Responsible hour, I shall take care to give you the earliest information of the number of those forwarded from time to time and of the monies expended for that purchase.
