Sir
I have received your letter of the first instant, to the Secretary of War who is absent and also the Return of the Stores at Pittsburg. Mr O Hara was particularly advised of the Cannon &c on the Road, previous to his departure from this City.
This day a quantity of Cannon, Musket and Rifle powder which has been procured by Colonel Procter goes off for Pittsburg — a further supply will be sent as soon as it has passed inspection
I am
Sir
with great esteem,
Your humble Servant
