You will please to deliver the same letter to the Bearer M^r Archibaldo Murray, who will bring a receipt [undecipherable] for the same for my use, [undecipherable] direction M^r Murray to [undecipherable] this letter in your presence that you may be a witness to the contents. I have taken the liberty of enclosing a Letter to the Secretary of War, to be forwarded by you.
