Hazens.] Richard Ennis to Robert Ross — 3 deed Issued July 13. 1792 Richard Ennis Hazens Nothing can be had for this [undecipherable] July [undecipherable] 1799[undecipherable] KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That I Richard Ennis [undecipherable] to [undecipherable] the [undecipherable] Canadian [Regiment?] Commanded by [Col.?] Moses Hazen in the Service of the United States of America, for a valuable and full Consideration to me in Hand paid, at or before the Execution hereof, by [Robert Ross?] the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, Have and by these Presents do grant, bargain, sell, release, transfer and assign unto him, his Heirs, Executors, Administrators and Assigns for ever: All the Right, Title, Interest, Property, Claim and Demand, which I now have, or which I, my Heirs, Executors or Administrators, may at any Time hereafter have, to all and singular the Lands, Pay, Arrearage of Pay, Clothing, Rations, Bounties, [undecipherable], Prize Money, and other demands, due and owing to me, from the United States, or from any particular State. And I do hereby for my-self, my Heirs, Executors and Administrators, covenant and agree in and with the said [Robert Ross?] his Heirs, Executors, Administrators and Assigns, that I, my Heirs, Executors and Administrators, shall and will, at any Time or Times hereafter, at the Request, Cost and Charges to be made, sealed, executed and delivered, all and every such reasonable [Acts?] and [Acts?], Thing and Things, Conveyances and Confirmations, whatsoever on the [undecipherable] for the further and better confirming, conveying, transferring and assigning, all the Right, Title, Interest, Property, Claim and Demand, which I now have, or which I, my Heirs, Executors or Administrators, may at any Time hereafter have, to all and singular, the Lands and other the Premises, hereby granted and assigned unto him, his Heirs, Executors, Administrators and Assigns, as by him or their Counsel learned in the Law shall be reasonably advised, devised or required.
