The cannon and bar-iron, and James iron for the camp-kettles you will forward by Major Smith's detachment. O'Hara the quarter master general will set out in a few days, with the money for the boats, axes and iron. I will endeavor to send some workmen to make the camp-kettles — If you could contract for four hundred more axes to be delivered by the first of July, pray do so.
