I have received your letters of the 15 and 27 Ultimo.
The title for the Jefferson lands, shall be paid here to the order of Dunlap and Gregg. the set of arms shall be furnished.
Nicholsons account shall also be paid, he will have it certified by you or some officer who knows he was employed on the service he states —
The powder forwarded must be assorted into Musket rifle and Cannon — it is excellent french powder — Sieves will be ordered to you for that purpose.
Proper Musket flints will be forwarded.
I have ordered two hundred rifles from Lancaster to your address; you are not to deliver them but according to my order they being for the rifle companies raising on the frontiers —
