Contract with Thomas Maysey for Spear Blades April 28 1792 Philadelphia 28th, April 1792 It is agreed between William Knox on the part of the United States, and Thomas Maysey, that the said Maysey shall make, for the service of the United States four hundred spear blades agreeably to the pattern furnished him, for which the said Knox will pay him ninetyfive cents for each spear blade so finished and it is agreed that the said Maysey shall deliver to the said Knox one hundred pr week until the whole number shall be delivered W Knox Tho Maysey Const.
