KNOW YE, that I, [undecipherable] of [undecipherable] in the Service of the United States of America, for and in confideration of the [undecipherable] to me in hand paid and before the entering and delivery of thefe Prefents, by [undecipherable] [undecipherable] The receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained fold remifs, releafe, quit-claim, transferred and affigned and by thefe prefents do grant, bargain, full re-mife, releafe, quit-claim, transfer, and affign to the faid [undecipherable] and his heirs and affigns forever, all the right, title, intereft, property, claim and demand whatfoever both in law and all the right, title, intereft, claim and demand which I, as [undecipherable] or any time hereafter may have to all the faid which I, or any other perfon [undecipherable] for my ufe from the United States of America [undecipherable] time hereafter be entitled to from the Congrefs of the United States of America; And Alfo all the lands monies and things, conveyances and affurances of any Fort due to me for and during [undecipherable] for fervices as any Act or acts of the legiflature of the faid commonwealth, for my fervices of [undecipherable] during the war with Great Britain and in every part and parcel thereof —And all fuch pay, fum or fums of money for arrearage of clothing, rations, rewards, gratuities, prize monies, commutations [undecipherable] however due to me for my fervices as aforefaid, for any fupplies rendered to the United States or to any one, Single Rate To have, hold, receive, take and enjoy the faid lands, monies and other the Premifes hereby granted and affigned unto, and to and for the only proper ufe and behoof of the faid [undecipherable] his heirs, executors adminiftrators and affigns forever. And the faid [undecipherable] do for myfelf, my heirs, executors, adminiftrators and affigns hereby covenant and agree to and with the faid [undecipherable] his heirs, executors, adminiftrators and affigns that [undecipherable] his heirs, executors, adminiftrators and affigns fhall and may at any time hereafter, at the requeft and cofts of his heirs, executors, adminiftrators and affigns, make, feal and execute, or caufe or procure to be made, fealed and executed, all and every fuch further and other lawful deeds, things, conveyances and affurances in the law whatfoever, for the perfect granting, conveying, remifing, releafing, transferring and affigning, all and fingular the faid lands, tenements and all claims and demands, which I the faid [undecipherable] have or which I the faid [undecipherable] may any time hereafter have as aforefaid, to his heirs, executors and adminiftrators may any time hereafter have, as to the lands, pay, monies, and others the premifes hereby granted and affigned and of in and to every part and parcel thereof, unto the faid [undecipherable] and his heirs and affigns, to the only proper ufe and behoof of the faid [undecipherable] his heirs and affigns forever, as he or they or their counfel, learned in the law, fhall be reafonably advifed, devifed or required. And I the faid [undecipherable] do hereby againft the faid [undecipherable] his heirs, executors, adminiftrators and affigns, and againft all and every other perfon or perfons whatfoever, for the fole ufe and behoof of the faid [undecipherable] his heirs and affigns, for ever, from the United States refpectively, a grant or grants, patents or [undecipherable] from the commonwealth of [undecipherable] And alfo to demand and receive all fuch pay, fum or fums of money, for arrearages of clothing, rations, rewards, gratuities, prize monies, commutations or otherwife howfoever, due to me as aforefaid, and upon receipt of fuch monies, to give and execute fufficient acknowledgement for the fame, hereby ratifying and confirming all and whatfoever my faid Attorney may do refpecting the fame.
