You account as agent for paying the pensions of Invalids in the State of Massachusetts has been settled at the Treasury and a balance stated in your favour for the sum of Eleven thousand three hundred and three Dollars and Seventy-nine Cents, according to the enclosed Statement.
For the purpose of closing your account under this agency, in the books of the Treasury, you will be pleased to charge the above sum in your next quarterly account as Collector, as a remittance to the Treasurer, and will sign duplicate receipts according to the enclosed form, one of which you will transmit to the Treasurer and the other to this Office.
