Know all men by these presents, Tht I David Cole a late soldier in the [undecipherable: fourth] pennsylvania Line Commanded By Colonel [undecipherable: Moylan] forth Rigmot of Light Dragoons for and in consideration of the sum of fifteen [undecipherable] to me in hand paid, at the execution hereof, by Adam Harbison the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge; Have granted, bargained and sold, assigned an set-over, and by these presents Do grant, bargain and sell, assign and set-over, unto the said Adam Harbison his heirs and assigns for ever; all the estate, right, title, interest, of, in, and to certain Military Land-Warrants, granted, or to be granted, for surveying to me one hundred acres, of Land from the United States, and also five hundred acres, from the state of Pennsylvania be the same more or less; in an of the districts, appropriated to satisfy the bounties & Lands, due to the late Army of the United States, and the State of Pennsylvania and all the Lands surveyed in pursuance thereof unto the said Adam Harbison his heirs and assigns, and their proper use and behoof forever. And I do hereby authorize and impower the said Adam Harbison his heirs and assigns, to solicit and take in his or their names, and to or their proper use the patents to be issued on the aforesaid warrants or lands, returned to the board of Treasury or elsewhere; and for a further consideration to me in hand paid, by the above named Adam Harbison I Do hereby authorize and impower the said Adam Harbison or his heirs or assigns, to demand or receive all my pay or arrearages of Pay due me as Soldier aforesaid, from the United States, or the State of Pennsylvania and to give receipt or receipts, for the same, and to do all lawful acts and things, necessary for effecting the same as fully and absolutely to all intents and purposes, as I might or could do, were I personally present, at the office or elsewheres, and done the same.
