Be then Sensed to the short duty of the Depredations of the Indians to render all possible Secrecy, in the frontiers, as early as possible the Simon Wall Admits to there urgent and to the best Omission as Delay in following out the Scouts and patting the frontier Inhabitants in the best position of Defence.
In addition to the above — Extensive and suggestion funded on the probable State of things, Some Information has been Received by which it would appear to have been the Intention of the Indians to have Acts early a Great Violence against the Settlement last December but the Severity of the Season then prevented, but very preparation ought to be made for their Eruptions the ensueing Spring, and an habitual Vigilance — Established to guard against being Surprised —
Troops are about making a Provision Which is Conceived to be Adequate for offensive Operation which when Matured will afford the Requisite protection — But in the mean time the Inhabitants ought to be affect and very expedient Devised for Security
