Speaks highly of Good Peter as a source of information and aid. Will report on results of council as soon as information comes available. Farmer's Brother has anxiety of mind and wished to absent self from Council at Buffaloe. Discusses Captain Brant and his obligations to Western Confederacy. General Chapin has been with Kirkland; discusses smallpox outbreak and measures to prevent its spread. Indians alarmed by smallpox outbreak
