[Jan^y 10^th — 1792. from G^o Fleming] West Point Jan^y 10^th 1792 Sir, The 3^d of November I last had the pleasure of writing to you and then enclosed muster and pay rolls of the detachment of artillery stationed here for the months of July, Aug and September. I now enclose muster and pay rolls of said detachment for the months of October, November and December. As on the receipt of this you will be possessed of the muster and pay rolls of the said detachment for their last pay^ments I would propose my drawing on you a simple draft notifying of payment specified, in favor of M^r William Thee merchant of New York for the said pay. The draft to mention the use the money is to be put to. On my paying the money to the men I will take their receipts and transmit them to you as usual. Your answer if post directed to be left for me at the post office at Peekshill will much oblige me.— You will also receive enclosed Nof. Ransons, Sullivans, Cranch's and Nayell's accounts and receipts, which leave a dificency of vouchers to my last account of disbursements for this post of only Kimble's & Howell's accounts & receipts. Kimble has left the sloop he sailed in and moved back in the woods. I will procure his & Howell's accounts & receipts and forward them to you as soon as possible.
