OF FORMING THE LINE AGREEABLY TO THE ORDERS OF THIS DAY.
The leading Wing of the leading Battallion in each Column form to the Left and to the Right, that of the Right Wing marching obliquely to the Left, and that of the Left Wing to the Right, dressing with the centre File, and facing to the Front. The several Battallions in each Wing march obliquely to the right and left upon the Flanking Files of the preceding Battallions.
FOR THE SECOND LINE. The Head Files of the third Battallion in each Column should that; the remaining part of these two Battallions and the whole of the fourth Battallion of each Column, obliquely to the Right and Left, the Right and Left Flanks being covered by the Rifle Corps as in the Plan, the Artillery disposed of in the First and Second Lines, and the Cavalry in the Rear of the Flanks Battallions of the latter. The Baggage &c. &c. falling to the Rear of the Second Line, to be sent off if necessary.
