You will herein receive a Statement of your Accounts as they appear on the Books of the Office by which you will see that there is a balance of 87 46/100 Dollrs due to the Utd.
You will please to State your Recruiting Acct & charge the United States with such sums as you may have paid for Bounty together with the Premium of two Dollars for each man recruited by you with the Rects of muster (giving a list of their names) & transmit the same, some and provided the Amount of your Recruiting Account exceeds the balance of the enclosed Account you are hereby authorised to Draw a Bill on me for the Sum that may be due you, which I will pay at Sight.
