Mr C.b.b. Sewan takes on with him for the pay of the Army, the Sum of thirty five thousand dollars in post bank notes. Your name has been indorsed jointly with that of Mr Sewan in those notes, for greater Security. In negotiating these Notes, therefore for cash, your Signature will be necessary, which I request you to do, noting always the time and amount of the notes so indorsed by you, and to whom negotiated, and transmitting the Same here.
