Know all Men by these Presents that John Williams of the Borough of Lancaster in the County of Lancaster & State of Pennsylvania Yeoman late a Soldier belonging to Colo Butler's Regiment in the Seventh Regiment of the Pennsylvania Line in the Service of the United States. For and in consideration of the Sum of Three Dollars to me in hand paid at the Execution hereof, by George Moon the Receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained and sold, assigned and set over, and by these presents do grant bargain and sell, assign and set over, unto the said George Moon his Heirs & Assigns, all my Estate, Right, Title and Interest of, in & to certain Military Land Warrant to be granted for surveying to me thee hundred Acres of Land in any of the Districts appropriated to satisfy the bounties of Land due to the late Army of the United States, and all the Lands surveyed or to be surveyed in pursuance of said Warrant to have & to hold the said Warrant Rights, and all the Land to be surveyed in pursuance thereof, unto the said George Moon his Heirs and Assigns, to his and their only use and behoof forever. And I do hereby authorize and empower the said George Moon his Heirs and Assigns, to solicit & take in his or Their Names, & to his and their only use and behoof, the Patent to be issued for the Lands to be returned on the aforesaid Warrant to the Board of Treasury. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand & Seal this twenty ninth day of November Anno Domini 1791
