Jefferson, the Secretary of States de-port Nov 8. 1791 — Relative to the Indian Boundary Line —
The Territory of the United States, N. W. of the Ohio, is bounded on the South by that River, — on the East by Pennsylvania, on the North and West by the Lines which divide the United Boundary States from the Dominions of Great Britain and Spain. the Indians
The part of this Territory occupied and settled by Indians is both and West, of States 1791. the following lines, established with the Wyandots, Delawares, Chepewas, and Ottawas by the Treaty of Fort Mackintosh and with the Shawnees by that of the Great Miamie, to wit, beginning at the Mouth of the Cayuga and running up the River to the [undecipherable] between that and the Tuscaroras branch of the Muskingum, then down the same branch to the Forks, at the [undecipherable] Fort Lawrence, then Westwardly the [undecipherable] of the Great Miamie to the main branch of that River, then down Miamie to the Fork of that River.
