The august mail last arrived, and brings me the enclosed [undecipherable] from [our] friend Brot which when you have perused [pray] send back to me. I request the favor [from] to inform me of the day you called the President at Philadelphia from his western [house/tour], as it will determine my departure from hence, for the seat of Government, where I hope to meet you.
